IFC Shared Governance

The Kentucky Interfraternity Council utilizes the shared governance between itself, our member organization and the University of Kentucky. We work closely with Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Office of Student Conduct and other campus partners within the Dean of Students unit and Student Success. It is important for all to note, that all students, organizations, staff and guests are held to the standard of Administrative Regulation 4:10 better known as the Code of Student Conduct. For more information regarding the Code, please follow the button to the side.

Judicial Resources

The Interfraternity Council utilizes a Judicial Board (J-Board) to oversee violations of the IFC’s Constitution and Bylaws. The J-Board encompasses the Vice President of Judicial Affairs, the IFC Chief Justice and Justices from each chapter. The J-Board process can be found in the IFC Bylaws. Please click the button for a copy of the IFC Governing Documents. Additionally, for more information regarding the Dean of Students office as well as the Code of Student Conduct, please follow this link link below and for any additional information, you can contact Fraternity and Sorority Life at FSL@uky.edu.

Current Chapter Standing

The Office of Student Conduct publishes the current discipline standing of registered student organizations, including fraternities and sororities. This can be found on their website by clicking the button named Organization Status. here.

Reporting Forms

The Interfraternity Council supports students as best as possible and within their scope of abilities. There are times when the Interfraternity Council and students in general do not have the ability to manage certain situations. During those times we strongly encourage for individuals to utilize the reporting forms provided by the University of Kentucky listed below.
