Why Did I Join?

Cooper Tyler
Vice President of Recruitment

"Joining a fraternity provides numerous benefits for men. It offers a sense of belonging and fosters lifelong friendships within a close-knit brotherhood.

Additionally, fraternity membership often cultivates teamwork and leadership skills, encouraging individuals to take on important roles both within the organization and the broader community.

Finally, fraternities promote personal growth by providing opportunities for personal and professional development, expanding social networks, and instilling values of service and camaraderie."

Why Join an IFC Fraternity?

Belonging & Brotherhood

“Belonging to a fraternity shows you how the real world works. There will be short and long term goals which you will tackle as a collective, and knowing how to belong to a group and placing yourself where you feel most comfortable is key. Fraternity life has taught me more than I can explain with words.”

Owen Neumayer, Sigma Nu

“The sense of brotherhood and community within the fraternity community is the supreme reason why fraternities exist. The men you choose to surround yourself with will continue to push you to excellence for the rest of your life.”
